Pathways

Pathways

Our Academy classes lay the foundation for every dancer’s growth, and our pathways are designed to build on that foundation. Each program works together seamlessly, so dancers can participate in multiple pathways if they choose, supporting a wide range of dance futures while developing technique, artistry, and professional skills.

Company

Built around our competition program, dancers train in diverse choreography, rehearse intensively, and perform to gain invaluable stage experience and feedback.

Conservatory

A pre-professional pathway for dancers pursuing company or concert careers. Focuses on advanced technique, artistry, and the discipline of stage work.

Institute

Hands-on experience in teaching, choreography, and mentorship—designed to develop future teachers and creative leaders.

Q&A

Which pathway is right for my child?

That depends on your dancer’s interests, goals, and personality. Each pathway focuses on a different area of dance—Company, Conservatory, or Institute—but all three build strong technique, artistry, and confidence. We’re happy to meet with you to help choose the best fit.

Can my dancer join a pathway even if they’re not sure they want a career in dance?

Absolutely! Our pathways are designed to create opportunities—not obligations. For example, you might not want to be a professional ballerina, but still want to perform in our annual ballet and learn pointe work. The Conservatory would be perfect for that. Or you might love the energy of competition through the Company pathway without ever wanting to dance in music videos—that’s fine too! Your dancer can enjoy the program that fits their current interests while also building skills that would prepare them for a professional future if they ever choose it.

Can my dancer switch pathways later or do multiple pathways?

Yes! While each pathway has its own training focus, many skills transfer between them. Dancers often explore different pathways as they grow and their goals evolve.

What if my dancer just wants to dance for fun and take classes?

Every dancer begins in Academy, where they receive well-rounded training without the additional time and commitments of a pathway. Some families choose to stay in Academy long-term, and that’s wonderful too.

Is it okay if my dancer does other activities outside of dance?

Yes! We understand dancers have varied interests. We’ll help you choose a training schedule that fits your family’s needs while still allowing your child to progress.
